Two of the sweetest people said their vows next to the flowing river at the gorgeous Raintree Venue.
I truly am blessed with amazing clients. Kudzai and Liberty met me the day before their wedding to run through some of the final details of their wedding, and I could not have been more excited. Their excitement and joy was contagious and there wasn’t a moment where they didn’t have a smile on their faces. This is such a special time of their lives, and they embraced it.
When I arrived to photograph the girls, I felt part of the family & was welcomed into their celebration. It’s always great working with service providers you get along with, so it was awesome to see Pfungwa working his magic for their video & Lee-Ann prepping their gorgeous hair! You will also notice the AMAZING flowers and decor, which was done by none other than Zillah at Tangerine Company.
The day ran smoothly with the help of their coordinator, Petronella Tshatedi. What an inspiration to work with her and with the snap of her fingers, stuff just gets done. For me, as a photographer at a wedding, it is so comforting to have a coordinator like Petronella to help run the day so that we can get the best light opportunity for the best photos.
Kudzai and Liberty ARE SO IN LOVE – it’s the cutest thing to watch! And boy did they trust me with their photos. Standing in her high heels, I asked if we could walk to outside the gate to a tree that I was dying to use, and without hesitation, they both said, “Ok, let’s go!” and then we still wanted to get back to the river before the sunset to do the last shot, and Kudzai picked up her long skirt, Liberty grabbed the train of her dress, and off they ran. It was the sweetest thing to see their excitement and enthusiasm & I was honoured to be able to capture that for them.
A magical evening unfolded, with twinkling candles, and fairy lights and lots of dancing, and a cake to die for!
