In case you didn’t realise – I am very passionate about photography. :) Most of you that know me, expect the camera to be brought out at least once in the day. It’s been an exciting, scary and amazing journey to get where I am now. I have some people who I want to thank and credit for inspiring me or encouraging me or helping me, even if they didn’t know it.
First of all, my husband, Dirk, who encourages and critiques me – always challenging me to push my boundaries.
Danie Bester – who really reignited my passion for photography and led me to this career path. He let me assist him with my first wedding, and he made me realise just how much I want to pursue it.
Richard Webb – who wholeheartedly wants to help aspiring photographers, who took me under his wing, let me assist him in his weddings and let me fly in order to learn more.
Christine Meintjes – This incredible woman inspires me every day with her photography. Her photographs are just awe inspiring! I don’t know her, only by her work and through her blog, but this is the magic of photographs – it connects the unconnected and has the ability to bring emotion to those who are completely detached. Christine has the ability to encourage me to better myself and keep on improving my photography.
And of course, my wonderful friends and family – you encourage and inspire me in more ways than you know. The Clintons, The Meyers, My Dassies and their ‘Hamsters’ and so many more.
The comments, the ‘likes’, the ‘shares’, the recommends, the well dones – they all mean so much to me & I appreciate every single one! Thank you for helping me come this far, so far! :)
