Bobbette & Brendan’s Duck & Dine Wedding

What a wedding! To give you some background on the couple, they moved to Tonga at the beginning of the year and organised their wedding here at home to be with friends and family. They arrived back in South Africa only a week before the wedding and she had done such a good job of planning the day that it went so smoothly. As Brendan said in his speech, “Bobbette planned the last ant to carry away the last crumb from the wedding”

Bobbette has been following my blog and we ended up chatting about our doggies. :) She has such an amazing character and is such fun! Bobbette was the coolest bride and looked like a goddess in her incredible dress! The lace was so intricate and the detail was so beautiful. Her bridesmaids were so friendly and fun which made her getting ready experience a hoot.

The couple shoot – oh the couple shoot – was drop dead gorgeous! They had an old car which we had photos in and the light was soooo beautiful and they looked sooo in love and happy! :) I was doing a little happy dance!

    Alana, these images are simply gorgeous! I would really like to know how on earth you got so lucky with that peacock?? Is it real? I love everything about this wedding and you couple shoot is amazingly beautiful and romantic!

    Lovely photos Alana!

    I shot a wedding there recently and initially I was worried about the decor but there are actually so many possibilities at this venue – the peacock was in roughly the same spot too although we didn’t take a photo with it, so good on you as it came out nicely! ;-)

    @Alana and @Andre

    I am also considering having my wedding there but would like a garden ceremony and picnic reception. In your expert opinion, do you think this venue is suitable for that? What was your experience of the venue?
