Greer & Douglas Wedding,Hertford Hotel,Johannesburg

It was a crisp day in May and what an awesome wedding day. Greer and Doug’s wedding decor was stunning & when I arrived the ladies were hard at work putting the finishing touches to the tables. I love it that it was so personal and so much love involved in this wedding. Lots of Pinterest inspiration went into the planning, so I felt like I walked into a “Pinboard” :)

Greer has the most contagious excitement. She looked absolutely gorgeous & that dress – to die for!!!  She had me in stitches as she cracked jokes through the shoot. She loves cats & we captured some great moments with her and the resident cat of Hertford. He even graced us with his presence at the ceremony & came to check on us during the photo shoot – much to Greer’s delight :)  Douglas looked super dapper in his Scottish outfit and the pair of them in a photo together – perfection!

Their bridal team were awesome! The girls were so lovely & attentive to Greer and at one point Greer was having her makeup done while getting a back scratch from her bridesmaid – now that’s what you call an awesome bridesmaid! :) Doug’s groomsmen were such a hoot, at times flashing their kilts. I love it when the bridal team make the bride and groom’s life easier and are attentive to their needs for the day!

The naughty photo corner was crazy as people streamed in for photos flashing kilts and other props at the camera ;)  I think the breakfast table the next morning must have had some great stories.

What a fun day it looked like! Beautiful bride, happy couple and just a gorgeous wedding, as usual captured by the expertise of Alana and her magic she performs with her camera! (or is it just a very good camera you have!? hahaha!)
