A winter family photo shoot

I love winter light ! It is soft and delicate and there’s something special about being in the sun in winter. You feel cold, but once your skin feels the touch of the sun, everything just feels right again! :)

I count myself lucky with my clients. I had such a lovely afternoon with this family – and it was made extra special by having granny and grandpa there too, to have some professional shots. Katherine is such a darling little girl and on the day of the shoot, she was teething, but still had such delightful expressions for the camera. The next day I got a message saying she had woken up with TWO new toofies! :)
