Outdoor Boudoir shoot, Johannesburg

Boudoir photography is something that I have wanted to do more of for a while now and I wanted to do something a little different and photograph the session outdoors, and this young woman was the perfect model. She is fun, brave, confident and beautiful.

She is absolutely gorgeous inside and out and has such a gentle soul. The natural environment where we did the shoot suited her spirit and her quiet inner confidence shined through just like how the light shone through the clouds, and created some beautiful images. :)

Boudoir photography is a wonderful way to get some gorgeous photos of yourself, and for your partner. It is a way of capturing a raw emotion and bearing yourself to the camera and having a bit of fun at the same time. There is something quite real about trusting yourself to get in front of a camera in lingerie. I think, for too long, women have looked at themselves and critically judged how they look and nit picked the smallest details about themselves, when I wish they would realise just how beautiful they are and should be celebrated.

Confidence comes from within, and inner beauty really does radiate out, and I would love to help women love their body and stop criticising themselves & celebrate how wonderfully they have been made.
