Wedding Celebration in Bulawayo

A wedding celebration in Bulawayo.

It was the first time I had been in Bulawayo since I was 5 years old, so it was an adventure! :)

I had met Tendai and Prince in Johannesburg a few days before as they were flying through from Canada, and immediately I knew they were awesome !! We discussed their wedding and all the details that they had planned for so long. They had many friends fly in from Canada, so it was truly an international affair.

I had photographed their friends David and Hazzel’s wedding in 2015, and I got to see them again and hear that they now have a baby. I love growing families :)

Prince is such a gentlemen and Tendai has a gentle and sweet nature. Together they have two sons and they have been raised with such manners and are also little gentlemen.

I was transported around the city the day before to show me the venues and I got to meet the bridal team who were all running around doing last minute bridesmaids and groomsmen duties. (it’s so important to delegate these duties to your team!) I also got to see Anesu from Make Up and Hair by Anesu who was amazing. She had lots of bridemaids hair and makeup to do, and she motored on like a pro!!

The day of the wedding it poured with rain, but that didn’t dampen spirits and the venue had done such a great job with the reception room that we were able to utilise the room for some intimate shots of the newly married couple.:)

It was such an honor to meet this special couple and capture their day. :)
