Christine Meintjes Johannesburg Workshop

I attended a workshop held by Christine Meintjes in Johannesburg in the middle of October. I have been a huge fan of Christine’s work for a few years now and this really was a dream come true to attend and learn from one of the best in South Africa. She is someone who inspires me through her work, through her life, how she deals with her business and how passionate she is.

To meet her was so awesome and see how down to earth, fun and normal she is. One tends to “idolise” the people you admire, but there is not an ounce of arrogance on her. She is humble and appreciative of how she got to where she is! It was a breath of fresh air to hear her stories and how willing she is to share. Her workshop was just what I needed for my business and she gave tips, advice and was not shy to share her knowledge and what she has learned in her 14 years (!!) in the wedding industry.

A wonderful two days was spent with all the other ladies at the workshop. I also got to finally meet the lovely Yolande Marx whose work I adore! It was great to meet everyone and chat to like minded people. I left the workshop inspired, and rearing to go. I couldn’t wait to put into place & implement all I had learnt! THANK YOU Christine! It was amazing! You are amazing! Thank you!
