Bongi and Tafadzwa’s Wedding, Harare, Zimbabwe

I was thrilled when I received an email from Bongi and Taffie after the wedding just to say thank you to me. It makes me so warm inside to know that I made their day just that bit easier or fun or calm. I am blessed to have this job as I can make an impact on someones special day, and it’s even more awesome when I receive an email before they’ve even seen the photos! :)

Such a special day for this couple. They had friends and family from around the world making it truly international and the dress, decor, flowers, shoes all just added to the event. But most importantly, and what I love to see and talk about at weddings, is how much they love each other. It’s so evident and it makes my job so easy with a couple in love.

The band at the reception were so awesome, and every opportunity there was to get up and dance, the guests were up there, shaking the dance floor. I so love seeing the joy on peoples faces as they bring the dance floor to life and then the disappointment when they have to sit down again because the next speech is starting. I always feel my foot start tapping once the music starts.

May your life be blessed Bongi and Taffie, and thank YOU for allowing me apart of your very special day.

Love this moment! :)

How cool is this number plate.

They said their vows privately – and what a special moment this was to see their faces light up as they made their promises to each other.

How gorgeous are these colours!
