Patient puppy, Dog photoshoot

I feel sorry for my future kids, because they will be subjected to me dressing them up in cute outfits in my latest favourite colours. ;)

For now, my puppies are the patient ones as I dress them up to photograph their cuteness! Skyler looks like she could be a flower dog at a wedding – thing is, she would run so fast down the aisle, that noone would see her!;)  While we’re on the topic of patience, we could all learn a thing or two about patience and the importance of it. We all tend to want things to happen, like, yesterday, however, we all need to adopt a bit of good old fashioned patience, tolerance, understanding and composure. We are living in a time of uncertainty and there is a lot of anger and bitterness around us, and the smallest incident can make us snap.

I often find myself getting so angry in traffic for some guy cutting me off, and if I take that anger with me on my whole journey, it has ruined the whole trip. And if I let it go, it does not affect me any longer, because it has no hold over me anymore! If I were more patient, the initial incident wouldn’t have irritated me so much in the first place.

1, 2, 3 breathe is a great tactic to embrace in a tense situation. It helps to rationalise your thoughts & avoid you saying or doing something you would regret.

Anyway, back to my patient puppy, she really does look cute in pink, don’t ya think?! :)

A side note on the technical side – this was shot with my new 50mm 1.2 lens! It has the yummiest bokeh ever and is pin sharp! I’m also lucky that we have gorgeous natural light in our house.:)
