The wedding industry is quite unique, and I feel most of us just want to service and help each other. I helped out Zuno Photography at this wedding held at Red Ivory Lodge, and we had a real blast working together again.
We always get super excited about pretty light, pretty brides and pretty decor. This wedding ticked all these boxes.
It was one of the hottest days I’ve shot a wedding, and you know when you’re wearing all black, and the sweat just pours out of every pore – that was Zuzi and I! ;) Thankfully the staff at Red Ivory Lodge were awesome and kept on replenishing us with cold bottles of water.
Zakithi and Owen have such a sweet love and affection for each other and they know exactly how to make each other laugh. Their wedding vows were a long time in the making and it was awesome to witness them celebrating their love in front of their families. I was also sooo excited as I got to witness the Soweto String Quartet perform, and oh my goodness – goosebumps!! They are the most incredible performers and they play in absolute harmony.
