Scarlett’s Smash the Cake Shoot

Scarlett’s smash the cake shoot was such fun.

I converted my office into a studio and her mama styled the shoot herself as well as baked the cake and DIYed the unicorn horns and wands as well as the floral piece on top of the teepee! So talented!! And Scarlett’s granny hand made the teepee! Some SERIOUS talent goin’ on in that family !! :)

Not only is mama a working mom, but also a business owner to Button and Bear. It is a local business of handmade baby products. It was born because she realised that some baby products she had bought for her own baby were not designed well or just did not fit right, so she decided to design products that really work and added some style with all sorts of super materials. I love that we got to do a mini family shoot as well as the cake smash and Scarlett was such a gem in front of the camera and we got some cute smiles and giggles in between cake scoffing. I can hardly believe that it was a year ago that I did her newborn photoshoot!(see it here) Time seriously flies. :)
