Wild Geese Wedding

They were destined to be with one another. A love story that was left up to destiny which brought them together to be united forever.

I’m such a sucker for romantic love stories, and this is one which really got my attention. They met one night at a pub when they were both visiting Zimbabwe for a wedding, and briefly had a conversation but never exchanged names. The very next day, after Calvin had been thinking of this beautiful, captivating woman he had met, saw her having lunch at the same place he was having lunch. He boldly went up to her, but again, they didn’t exchange names. He thought that he would never see this gorgeous woman again as he was leaving the next day.

A few months later, he happened to be doing some research for a mentorship project and there, on the USAP website, he once again stumbled upon a picture of this beautiful woman he had met, but this time was different, because her name was below her picture. The rest, was history, as he was able to track her down and start up another conversation, one that led to this marriage. :)

I was the one blessed to photograph this wedding at Wild Geese lodge with a ceremony held underneath the Msasa trees and overlooking the bushveld. Not only was it a beautiful & romantic wedding, but so much fun. It’s wonderful to be surrounded by such awesome people who you can really tell love the couple and have made every effort to be there for them.
