I started this love journey with this gorgeous couple back in June 2017 when Kuda was planning to propose to Panashe. He was in the throws of organising a surprise engagement, and he wanted me there to capture the moment.
He had told me that Panashe had been following my work and she had mentioned to him that she wanted me to photograph their wedding. So he decided to get me to capture the engagement. :)
So it was set, it was a dinner, it was romantic, the lights were low, he was nervous, she looked glamourous, he went down on one knee and she exclaimed YES!
This is where it all started & I was honoured to witness it!
Panashe’s special number is 17, so they settled on the 17th December 2017. (what a cool anniversary date!!)
The week leading up to the wedding, it poured in Joburg, and we all held our thumbs that the day would not be rained on, and we were blessed with a very hot, yet sunny day! Panashe is petite, quiet and elegant and she moves with such grace, and Kuda is confident and bubbly and I love to see how their characters bring out the best in each other. Panashe’s vision was executed beautifully and the colours popped and the day was filled with love and joy with friends coming from all around the globe.
It was such a beautiful journey that I went on with this couple and I hope to capture many future moments in their life :)
