Needless to say, I had such fun photographing this amazing styled shoot.
Justine, from Vela Creative Consulting, in Zimbabwe, is a wedding coordinator who I connected with during my visits to Zimbabwe and we got chatting & I planted a seed of the idea of putting together a styled wedding shoot in Zimbabwe, to showcase some of the best wedding service providers in Zimbabwe. The wedding industry is booming in Zimbabwe, and I think some brides living abroad are unaware of what you can actually get there, so I’d love to show you these talented individuals to help you make your wedding day perfect!
Justine & I spent hours on Pinterest, pinning our favourite colours, flowers, dresses, themes and finally when we decided to go ahead & do it, she hand-picked the top suppliers that she knows and has worked with and I was blown away by their talent, & enthusiasm & I loved every moment of spending the day with these creative individuals. Thank you thank you thank you to each and every person involved in this shoot and who made the day come alive with so much character & beauty! Special thanks to Justine, who worked her butt off to get all the finishing touches just right. Oh Bushman Rock – my favourite venue!! :) Thanks to Zillah for the amazing flowers! You never cease to amaze me how you can just put a bunch of flowers into your hand and make it a masterpiece! Thanks to my mom for helping me on the day – it was fun to show her a bit of my job and have her involved, though I think I worked her a little too hard ;)
There were different aspects & themes of the day that we wanted showcase, so I will be posting these in a few different parts so you can get an idea of the themes we achieved.
For the first part of the day, we concentrated on soft, subtle, romantic colours. Blush, champagne and mushroom colours were the theme, and romance, pearls & sophistication ran throughout.
