A baby’s first photo shoot

A baby’s first photo shoot is one of the most precious moments ever. They are so tiny, new and cuddly.

Nicholas was just two weeks old, and I think he still thought he was in mommy’s tummy as he was slept so soundly. We had the heater going to warm the room, the white noise machine blaring and he allowed me to wrap him up, all the while he lay with his legs curled up against his little body, his arms close to his mouth and breathing heavily as he was in slumberland.

Mommy, Daddy and big brother, Aaron, were all so proud of him and Aaron was the cutest, as he touched him softly and kissed his “boetie”.

I have watched this family grow right from their engagement shoot up until the birth of their second child – what an honour to be such an integral part of their memories.
